Michelle Codington, MS, LMFT, RPT-S, CFTP

Michelle is a dynamic clinician with 25 years of experience in counseling, mediation, leadership and consulting. She is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Certified Family Trauma     Professional, Certified Nurtured Heart Trainer and Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor. Her roles have included: therapy with families, children and couples; adoption consulting; family court mediation; and consulting/training for businesses and non-profits.  

Prior to founding the Thrive Program, Michelle was the Clinical Director of a statewide Wraparound agency serving at-risk children and teens. During her tenure, Ms. Codington led a staff of 250+, consulted for local Head Start programs and served as a guest lecturer at local universities. She is now the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Where Kids Thrive, an agency specializing in creative and expressive arts treatment of complex trauma.


Michelle’s areas of specialty include: trauma-informed care, healing attachment disruption, play therapy, connecting neurobiology with behavior and parenting. Her experience spans inpatient, outpatient, group homes for human trafficking survivors, family court, Wraparound and private practice. She is a frequent presenter at regional and national conferences.

Amy Frew, Ph.D., LMFT, RPT-S

Amy is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Tennessee, Registered Play Therapist - Supervisor and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. In working with children and teens, she combines the therapeutic elements of art, sand, and play to provide clients a safe and empowering environment allowing for positive change and growth. 

Amy specializes in helping children (and parents) in emotional regulation, decreasing anxiety, managing anger and impulse control, and strengthening family relationships. Her experience comes from her work with adoptive families, victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse, and families who have experienced death and divorce. She recognizes that behavioral symptoms may often mask the underlying emotional, relational and sensory needs of a child and works with parents, pediatricians, and teachers to provide systemic support for each client. 

In addition to counseling services, Amy offers individual and group supervision for individuals working towards their LMFT license and seeking their RPT credential. 

Amy received her undergraduate degree from Taylor University in Upland, IN and graduated with both her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and Doctorate in Clinical Counseling and Supervision from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN.

Eleah Hyatt, MA, LMFT, RPT

Eleah Hyatt has a Master’s degree in Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University and is a licensed Marriage and Family therapist. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside children, adolescents and families as they move through the highs and lows of life, traumatic experiences, emotional distress, behavioral issues and wounded relationships. Helping children and families grow through these experiences while building stronger connections with one another brings her the greatest joy. 

Eleah has been serving kiddos and families at Nurture House with Paris-Goodyear-Brown since 2017. She is trained in  EMDR level 2 (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Theraplay™ level 2, Group Theraplay™, TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention), Prepare/ Enrich and TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). She is a board member of SeaStar Kids; a local nonprofit organization dedicated to helping underprivileged children in Ukraine. She is married and has two children.

Christine Davis Zouaoui, MA, LPC, RPT-S

Christine is a creative, dynamic clinician with 20 years of experience in mental health counseling, consulting and training.  She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Trauma Specialist, Certified Nurtured Heart Approach Trainer and Registered Play Therapy Supervisor.  Her roles include working in private practice and school settings as a mental health therapist. 

With a successful private practice, Christine chooses to continue to work in an urban school district, recently moving from a 7-12 grade to K-7 grade setting.  This situation provides the unique experience of working with numerous cultural and various levels of socioeconomic clients, including refugees.  Mental health work in  schools utilizes both individual therapy and group work, along with systemic work with the school staff.  

Christine’s areas of specialty include: anxiety, PANS/PANDAS, foster & adopted children, LGBTQ (includes transitioning clients and parents), complex trauma,  systemic work in families and schools, sports psychology, and secondary trauma work with first responders and therapists.  She utilizes play therapy, TraumaPlay, Theraplay, creative arts therapy, Nurtured Heart Approach and is trained in TF-CBT, and CBT with adolescents.  All techniques used are woven in with trauma informed, neurobiological education and understanding for clients, parents and educators.  Christine presents at regional and national conferences on play therapy and creative therapies and has self-published a book Healing With Creativity: When Talking Just Isn’t Enough.

Paula Archambault, LMSW, RPT-S

Paula Archambault, LMSW, RPT-S is a Director of Child and Family Therapy at Voices for Children Advocacy Center. She is a registered play therapist supervisor with over 25 years of experience in Child and Family Therapy, and earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. 

Paula provides therapy and court preparation services for children who have experienced complex traumas  or abuses so their voice is heard and their trauma is transformed into their inner strength. She also helps their non-offending caregivers and family members find their voices and protect the family from future trauma.

Abigail Lee, MCoun, RPT 

Abigail is a registered counsellor and registered play therapist supervisor with close to 15 years of experience in Singapore. She is also the Executive Director of Healing Hearts Centre, and is the co-founder and current President of the Association for Play Therapy (Singapore). 

She works with children, adolescents, individuals and families experiencing emotional-behavioral and relational issues with a focus on extending hope and restoration. Abigail is trained in EMDR and a Certified Circle of Security Facilitator with Circle of Security International and is appointed by the Singapore Family Justice Courts as a Parenting Coordinator and by the Singapore Mediation Centre as a Collaborative Family Practice Counsellor to work with families undergoing separation and divorce.
